Who Are We!

Great Ball Players-USA (GBP-USA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2016, dedicated to building and rehabilitating basketball courts for youth in Monrovia, Liberia.

• Mobilizes funds and partners with individuals and local organizations in Liberia to clean, repair, revitalize, and construct new basketball courts throughout the suburbs of Monrovia.

• Committed to ensuring that every child — regardless of birthplace, family income, or background — has equal access to well-maintained basketball courts, recreational centers, and social and educational development opportunities.

• Believes in the transformative power of sports as a tool to promote physical health, fitness, and youth unity through structured social and academic programs, while providing basketball training initiatives that serve as a positive alternative to street life.
