WHAT HAVE WE DONE

Through our collective efforts to advance our mission, Great Ball Players-USA (GBP-USA) has proudly achieved the following milestone projects in Liberia:

• GBP-USA 1st Project — Court Rehabilitation (April 2021) In partnership with the Rebranding Basketball Association (REBA), GBP-USA successfully rebuilt a basketball court in New Kru Town, Monrovia, complete with brand-new boards, rims, and added seating capacity — marking our first major infrastructure project on the ground in Liberia.

• GBP-USA Collaboration with MJUS — Vacation Basketball Training Camp (June 2022) Co-sponsored 85% of funding ($3,200) for a three-week vacation basketball training camp in Monrovia, in partnership with Mama Jama Ultimate Sports Association (MJUS). The camp served youth across multiple communities, including New Kru Town, Logan Town, Barnersville, Gardnersville, and 72nd.

• GBP-USA Sneakers Donation (May 20, 2023) Donated one hundred (100) pairs of basketball sneakers for teenagers to the Black Hole Ballers Association in Pennsylvania, designated for distribution to boys and girls throughout Monrovia, Liberia.

• GBP-USA Electronic Scoreboard Donation (April 15, 2023) Purchased and shipped to Liberia the first modern, multipurpose digital electronic scoreboard of its kind, which was installed at the SKD Basketball Gymnasium in collaboration with the Liberian Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Zeogar D. Wilson. The scoreboard was officially dedicated on April 15, 2023, by the President of Liberia, H.E. George M. Weah, and is currently in active use for organized youth tournaments and first and second division basketball competitions.

• As a significant commitment to the youth of Liberia, Great Ball Players-USA is currently building our NextLevel - G. Alvin Uso Memorial & Legacy Basketball facility in Stephen Tolbert Estate, Gardnersville. A full size FIBA standard basketball court with 200 seating capacity, that composite a 2 separate bath and 2 locker rooms for boys and girls, including a water tower.

These landmark achievements have generated tremendous excitement and enthusiasm among youth across communities in Monrovia, fueling GBP-USA's commitment to do even more for the youth of Liberia. Your contribution and donation will go directly toward a worthy and life-changing cause.
